Stay! Good type!
This is a very good use of typography that acts in a very visual manner. It uses letter forms to illustrate in text. On top of conveying a message.
Bad type! Bad- bad-bad!
This ad has a very poor use of type. The strongest visual element is contrast which acts as a visual weight to push the balance between the photo and the text. There is no other elements or principles connecting the logo, motto, or picture together so all the elements within the composition lack connection.
